Recent Studies have shown that most suicides come from shame or loss of financial and social status than medial diagnoses. Eventhough I has a neighbor 14 years ago who wrote his final love letter to his wife and committed suicide after being diagnosed with cancer.

Too Dead Inside
In the Middle-East when we want to do something while unconsciously certain to fail, we seek advice so that we can blame someone else for the failure ! We have become too dead inside to even know the guilt.
I don’t know if it’s a principle but it seems to be the norm in Jeddah.

Bring The Cure
I went into the pharmacy underneath my apartment the other day to buy me an analgesic muscle relaxant.
Over the corner was a Panadol Stand. Each shelf on this stand contains a Panadol Type/Name that “treat” a certain ailment.
You could go on forever from Panadol Advanced, to Flu to Extra…. It just never ends. What’s obvious is that Pharmaceutical companies are better at inventing diseases that match existing drugs, rather than inventing drugs to match existing diseases.

We Don't Need Education
We have always been told that Wealth comes from the “richness of the mind”. This aphorism has been quoted by a lot of intellects around the world, stressing that it’s not money that brings riches.
Since graduation, I have met in the workplace several people who have travelled to Europe and the U.S to attain a graduate degree from top ranking universities in the world.
What’s shocking is that the knowledge/education they have acquired is not observed or seen at work. Some of them seem like they are illiterate.
Obviously, education makes the wise slightly wiser but it makes a fool more dangerous.
