Bring The Cure

I went into the pharmacy underneath my apartment the other day to buy me an analgesic muscle relaxant.
Over the corner was a Panadol Stand. Each shelf on this stand contains a Panadol Type/Name that “treat” a certain ailment.
You could go on forever from Panadol Advanced, to Flu to Extra…. It just never ends. What’s obvious is that   Pharmaceutical companies are better at inventing diseases that match existing drugs, rather than inventing drugs to match existing diseases.

We Don't Need Education

We have always been told that Wealth comes from the “richness of the mind”. This aphorism has been quoted by a lot of intellects around the world, stressing that it’s not money that brings riches.
Since graduation, I have met in the workplace several people who have travelled to Europe and the U.S to attain a graduate degree from top ranking universities in the world.
What’s shocking is that the knowledge/education they have acquired is not observed or seen at work. Some of them seem like they are illiterate.
Obviously, education makes the wise slightly wiser but it makes a fool more dangerous.

Horrendous March - Part 2

Yesterday registers the second year post my tragic incident that took place on the roads of Medina.
It still hurts !
I have tried to overcome this  incident but I still do feel  irritated when I start to recall small details. It really feels good to be alive. I am very thankful to God, for I was given a chance to fix/correct the mistakes I have done in life.
I will give you the reader the chance to know a little more about it below:

I didn’t wake up ! I Didn’t see anything ! I can only remember my parents taking me to the Saudi German Hospital in Jeddah. I didn’t know why ?!? But they took me there and I was given physical therapy to help improve my left arm/hand.
I was shocked !! my hand does not move properly up or down.. and there is a lot of pain in my left shoulder, I don’t know why....
Then I was moved to a hotel near my house where some friends and colleagues came in to say Hi.
Again I don’t know why?
The silence was so loud, no one told me what was going on but I felt that there was something wrong.
There was something bad that I did , or maybe something bad happened to me.
Looking through my body I found:
-          a scar on the face underneath my left eye
-          deep bleeding right arm
-          torn and bleeding left shoulder
-          bleeding on the feet and toes
After observing the wounds on my body, I knew that I was suffering from something serious. As days went on I started listening clearly to people and carefully to the discussions my sisters and parents had yet I couldn't come to an answer ! I was emerged in lost time.
Its annoying!! The only thing I had to do was to confront my parents. And that’s what I did!
I went over to my parents and I asked them “Whats really going on?”.   They replied with sorrowful and saddened faces that my friends and I were in a horrible car accident and I cheated death.
Consequently, they explained that after that accident I was unconscious and suffering from a concussion and head trauma .

I prefer to end this story telling here as I could go on forever to elaborate and talk about the hidden emotions and feelings.

It's Carpe Diem

I have had a lot of bad experiences in life. I don’t know if I should call them experiences, problems, mistakes, or obstacles. We learn from them, this is how we learn from life.
Life is not as beautiful and bright as it seems. A lot of darkness in that light. People are not what they seem to be, if there is evil it’s the people.
Sometimes it looks like the well prepared and educated people lead a miserable life while the stupid and mentally blind are rewarded and given a lot.
A client once told me that she doesn’t plan for her future nor does she have any career plans. I was shocked at such statement, without planning what would we do? Live and enjoy everyday without thinking about the future?
After what I have gone through in life, I think she is right.
One should seize the day, enjoy the present without placing all hope in the future. We should enjoy the pleasure of the moment without concerns for the future especially when you never know when death will greet you.
Even when it comes to work, do your best and pluck the day while its ripe don’t look back just move on. Take full advantage of present opportunities and enjoy today and don’t worry about the future as in it’s a beautiful day so forget tomorrow’s.

Limitation Of Human Understanding

Scientists discover and spread new thoughts by understanding the world.
Businessmen evolve and grow by spreading stupidity and false thoughts in their environment.
That’s how they grow. They have given the people around them their own education by doing things their way. After 5 years of working in the Advertising/marketing field I have only received one marketing plan properly made by a 60 year old marketing manager who used to be the CEO of the Bank of America.
Few weeks back I got a request from a marketing manager to work on his annual marketing plan.
I have this feeling that bothers me most of the time. It’s an unnamed feeling where I see that most of the people around me suffer from a limitation of human understanding.
